Continuing to deal with the effects his FLDSMDFR has had on Swallow Falls, Flint Lockwood now works for Live Corp, struggling to gain the respect of famed inventor Chester V.
Moving on from large food to ‘foodimals’, this sequel sadly loses a lot of the charming and irreverent dialogue that made the first so memorable. Its saving grace is the tasty looking creatures, with the ‘leek in the boat!’ always raising a good laugh. A sub plot involving Flint’s Father and some pickles is similarly amusing. Any further sequels would need to remember what made the first film great though.
