Wolfcop in 100 Words

When it’s ripping people’s faces off I was both engrossed and grossed out by Wolfcop. But even in its short run time I found it dull and sagging when it tried to provide an actual story, leaving me oddly ambivalent about it overall.

The cast of unknowns acquit themselves with gusto; they know what they’re making and they jump in. Of note are the practical effects, which are extremely impressive. The transformation from man to wolf….cop, is suitably gruesome, plus there are some gruesome kills. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it didn’t grab me considering its outlandish premise.
