With a former Bond girl in tow it’s good to Brosnan picking up a gun convincingly; if only the story were less convoluted.
Based on a series of books by Bill Granger, The November Man creates a tale that I can only assume is meant to be hard-hitting and topical, but it just ends up being boring. A lot of it could have been cut and I’d have finished the film knowing just as much.
Brosnan pulls off a gruff, harsher attitude well; leaving me wishing he’d had better scripts during his tenure as 007. Otherwise it’s all very average.
