The Imitation Game in 100 Words

A sensational central performance from Benedict Cumberbatch, surrounded by a quality cast led by Keira Knightley, left me in tears.

The Imitation Game may not always be factually correct, but it did a wonderful job of making me feel the story of Alan Turing and the struggles he faced despite his genius. Understood by few, Turing’s story left me amazed at not only his brilliance – giving us the computer and saving millions of lives – but also the disgusting way in which he was treated. Don’t put off seeing this film like I did. Everyone should be aware of Turing’s accomplishments.
