The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 in 100 Words

Mockingjay Part 1 owes its predecessors a lot, as it’s the ground work laid down by them that allows this one to move on from the trappings of the games to become the best entry yet.
With a documentary feel capturing the horrific state of Panem since Katniss’s defiance in the games, the change in both the world, ravaged by the marvellously evil President Snow, and Katniss’s role feels like a natural progression.  I do miss Tucci’s manic grin but there is levity to be found. It’s lacking in action but the character interactions more than make up for it.
