Maggie in 100 Words

The tension is high and the tone depressing as a Father and Daughter struggle to hold onto their last days together. Maggie strips away not only most of the things we associate with a zombie film, but also Arnold of the action baggage he’s built up over the years.

Acting his age, he gives a sad and resigned performance, matched by Abigail Brelin’s tortured transformation.  Too much is stripped away though, those performances and some hauntingly beautiful scenery the only things to cling onto. Maybe Schwarzenegger can’t be the action hero he once was, but maybe that’s OK needed now.
