100 Word Movie Review – Hidden Figures

Humans are capable of such wonderful and atrocious things. Set amidst the space race between the U.S. and Russia, Hidden Figures focuses on three women who battle sexism and racism in a extremely interesting and often very humorous story.

Henson, Spencer, and Monáe are superb, displaying a power and belief that has you willing them forward. Be warned, there are high degrees of sass in this film! Parsons’ familiarity is distracting whilst Costner is understated in his strength of character.

It’s not long until I’ll be a father. Boy or girl they’ll grow up watching culturally important films like this.
